DC Farm for Vets 2023 Class Schedule

Veggies 

​

DC Farm for Vets loves growing veggies and getting you connected back to the land.  In this class you will learn the basics on how we here at DC Farm for Vets grow.  You will learn a little about a lot, from seed selection to harvest, join us each month!  Each class is limited to 10 people to ensure your learning is effective.

Bees

​

Learn the basics of beekeeping!  Bees are an intricate part of farming and our lives.  In these classes you will learn how to set up a hive, hive and bee maintenance, honey harvesting, and winter storage.  Class is limited to 3 people due to limited bee safety gear.

Mushrooms

​

DC Farm for Vets is honored to partner with Door County Mushroom Company.  Learn from the expert on how to grow and cultivate different types of mushrooms in an assortment of growing environments.

Internships 

​

DC Farm for Vets is now offering internships on the farm.  This internship will get you intimately involved with the day to day operations of our farm.  Each internship is a week with food and housing available on sight.  Limited to one person per week.

Community partner

​

Join our ever growing list of community partners.  Community partners are involved with assisting with busy times and larger projects on the farm.  Many hands make light work!
