Mushroom Cultivation on Logs
April 29 @ 9am - DC Mushroom Farm in Sturgeon Bay

Learn about the cultivation process for growing mushrooms on logs. This class will teach you what you need to know for starting a small to medium size mushroom farm. We will discuss the lifecycle of mushrooms, the equipment needed, log inoculation, and log management. You will also get hands-on experience with log inoculation.

Low Maintenance Mushroom Cultivation (Woodchips and other Techniques)
June 24th 3 pm At DC Farm for Vets 6418 Vignes Rd.

This class will teach you about growing mushrooms with minimal equipment and time commitment. This class is for a farm that wants to offer mushrooms but on a smaller scale and minimal maintenance.
We will cover the following techniques:
Wine Cap in wood chip bed
Oyster mushrooms in 5-gallon buckets
Indoor grow kits
Greenhouse grow kits
